Our pictures shows this year's lucky winner, Mrs. Sylvia Leggett of Sturminster Newton, receiving a £100 pounds worth of grocery vouchers from Lions President Peter Oswick.

Also pictured are Richard, the store supervisor, and his team leaders, Susie and Helen with Gordon Kelley, the Lions organiser of the event, which this year raised over £550 for local charities.

 As ever we extend our grateful thanks to Malcolm Maidment, the Manager of the Co-op Supermarket in Sturminster Newton, who donated the £100 draw prize and Roy Barrett, Estate Agents, who sponsored the draw tickets.

This annual event has been running for more than twenty years and has benefited many local charities supported by Blackmore Vale Lions.
