The funds that Blackmore Vale Lions raise enable us to help a wide variety of causes, both local and overseas. These photos show some of the ways we have helped local people in recent times. These range from individual people, like Andy for whom we bought an electric buggy to help him get about more easily, to the Doctors' surgery in Stalbridge where we helped fit out a new nurses room. These photos also show presentations to St. Margaret's Hospice which provides support for terminally ill people in Somerset and neighbouring counties, Julia's House the Dorset Children's Hospice and the Weymouth Lifeboat.
